If you are caring for an aging loved one and need temporary assistance, consider a short-term stay at one of the Aston Gardens communities.
Designed for stays of a few days to several months, our short-term stays are perfect when family members are away on a vacation or business trip or require a short break from caring for the senior in their life. Short-term stays are also an option for seniors needing extra assistance after a hospital visit or during an illness. Many of our permanent residents also begin their lives with us by evaluating our community through Short-term Stays.
Prior to staying with us, we bring seniors and family members together to conduct an assessment. This assessment helps determine the appropriate services and care for each individual. Once a resident, seniors will enjoy fully-furnished private suites, complete with a full bath, an emergency call response system and wall-to-wall carpeting.
Our Short term stays includes the following services:
- Daily Assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, dressing, eating and toileting)
- 24-hour nursing available
- Administration of medication
- Nutritional assistance and monitoring
- Dependence on staff for assistance with ambulance and transferring for safety
- Scheduled transportation to appointments, shopping and entertainment
- Daily chef-prepared breakfast, lunch and dinner
